TA SET-ASIDE PROGRAM — CALL FOR PROJECTS
Overview of Important Program Information
In urbanized areas with populations over 200,000, under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL), the Transportation Alternatives (TA) Set-Aside Program from the Surface Transportation Block Grant (STBG) provides funds that are distributed to MPOs. Funds can be used for projects such as:
• Pedestrian & bicycle facilities
• Recreational Trails Program (RTP)
• Construction of turnouts/boulevards
• Safe Routes to School (SRTS)
• Streetscaping
• Vulnerable road user safety assessments/traffic calming
APPLICATION DEADLINE: Friday, November 18, 2022
