Certain documents, contracts, and agreements that must be prepared for an MPO to be eligible for federal funding. Pursuant to 23 CFR 450.314, the MPO, the State, and the providers of public transportation shall cooperatively determine their mutual responsibilities in carrying out the transportation planning process. These responsibilities will be clearly identified in written agreements among these entities.
